What do your trolleys look like?
They are replica turn-of-the century trolleys built by Molly Corp., of Ogunquit, ME and are painted with the traditional red bottom and green top. Our trolleys are heated and have roll-down sides in the back for four-season touring.

Are any of your trolleys handicapped accessible?
We have two trolleys that are handicapped accessible. Let us know the date you will be in town, and we will make sure to have that trolley on the route for that day.

Are your trolleys heated?
Yes.

How many passengers does a trolley hold?
Each one holds between 34 and 38 passengers, depending on the model.

What are the operating hours of the tour?
We normally run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with the last full tour departing the National Park Service Regional Visitor Center at 4:00 PM. However, we retain the right to pull a vehicle from service at any time due to adverse weather conditions.

Can I bring my dog on the trolley?
Service dogs are always welcome. Lap dogs and animals that are kenneled are allowed, at the discretion of the driver and guide.

What if I need to cancel my event reservation. What is your policy?
A $25 administration fee will be charged for any cancellation prior to two weeks before your event. If cancellation is less than two weeks before your event, 50% of your event fee will be refunded. If a cancellation is made with less than 48 hours notice, we will be unable to refund any of the cost.

The Salem Trolley, Inc. reserves the right to cancel transportation contracts and go off-road early in the event of severe inclement weather when we deem it would be a danger to operate. In the event of charter transportation cancellation on the part of The Salem Trolley, Inc., a full refund will be given.
